“Walking in the Land of my Ancestors” encourages researchers to look deeper when they find their ancestor’s name on a map by trying to answer such questions as:
- How did this person acquire this property . . .?
- What did they do with the property . . .?
- Who did the person transfer the land to upon leaving the area or upon death?
